This game has 7 reels and 7 rows. Instead of paylines, it uses the Cluster Pays mechanic. A winning cluster is formed if 5 or more matching symbols land vertically or horizontally adjacent to each other. The bet sizes range from £0.05 to £10 per spin.

Cascading Reels

The Cascading Reels feature is activated after a winning cluster lands. All symbols involved in the winning cluster are taken off the grid to allow new symbols to fill their spaces. 

This allows for another opportunity to form a new winning cluster, resulting in another cascade. The cascading continues until there are no more winning clusters forming. 

Gift of the Gods Bonuses 

In addition to the cascades, a spirit wild symbol is created after every winning cluster. This spirit wild may appear in one of the empty spots after the winning symbols are taken off. 

If the spirit wild completes a winning cluster, it is collected. You need to collect four spirit wilds to fill the meter and activate a random Gift of the Gods bonus. 

There are four Gift of the Gods bonuses, as explained below: 

• Odin’s Power Bonus: Three Odin wilds are created if this is triggered. 
• Freya’s Magic Bonus: Two to four pairs of Freya wilds are created.
• Thor’s Thunder Bonus: Six to ten Thor wilds are created.
• Heimdall’s Vision Bonus: Two to four pairs of diagonal Heimdall wilds are created. 

Loki’s Mischief Bonus

This bonus can activate randomly in the base game. With his mischief, Loki creates five to eight mystery symbols which may reveal a randomly selected symbol (except wilds). This bonus may trigger after a non-winning spin or cascade. 

Power of Aesir Bonuses 

There is a Runic Charge Meter that collects symbols in winning clusters, excluding the spirit wilds and all Gift of the Gods wilds. Filling the Charge Meter with 35 symbols could trigger one of four Power of the Aesir bonuses randomly. 

Here are the Power of the Aesir bonuses: 

• Trumpet Screech: This feature can pick three random symbols and transform or destroy the symbols around them.
• Folkvang’s Force: It upgrades all instances of a randomly chosen symbol to the next higher-paying symbol in the paytable. For example, it can upgrade a trumpet to a ram skull. 
• Mjolnir’s Strike: Six to ten random symbols are chosen and destroyed or transformed. 
• Heaven’s Spear: This transforms spear, hammer, ram skull, and trumpet symbols into the same symbol.

Ragnarok Extra Spin Bonus

This bonus is triggered if the Charge Meter is filled with 65 symbols. You get 1 Extra Spin with all four Power of the Aesir bonuses applied one after the other. Each one is activated once there are no more cascades. 

The bonus ends after all the Power of the Aesir bonuses have been applied. 

If the spirit wild symbol lands, it does not activate the Gift of the Gods bonuses. Instead, they are collected; you can collect up to a maximum of 20 spirit wilds. They are released at the end of the Extra Spin’s cascades for a chance to continue the cascades. 

Also, a Multiplier Charge Meter replaces the regular Charge Meter during the Extra Spin. Collecting 25, 50, 75, and 100 symbol wins awards a 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x multiplier, respectively. The multiplier is applied to your total winnings from the bonus. 

Aftershock Bonus

This bonus is triggered if the Charge Meter is left with only 5 symbols remaining to trigger the Ragnarok Extra Spins, but the cascades have ended. 

It could select random symbols and transform the symbols between them to form a cluster. If mystery symbols appear at that time, the Aftershock selected symbols will match those revealed by the mystery symbols.
